Carvers Solicitors is proud to be supporting the first National Conveyancing Week which is taking place from 20th to 24th March 2023.
The new initiative has been launched to raise the profile of those who conduct conveyancing, educate and inform those involved in property transactions about the role of a conveyancing professional and improve the experience of those involved in the home-moving process.
The marketplace is continuously changing but the demand for conveyancing professionals continues to increase, new data revealed that the average caseload per firm increased by over 79% in the last decade. The number of property transactions grew to 1.3 million alone in 2022 which is almost double from 2012. This has caused significantly more stress to professionals involved in the residential conveyancing sector.
Throughout National Conveyancing Week law firms across the country will be taking part in raising the profile of the pivotal role that conveyancing professionals play in the house-moving process.
Amanda Holden, Partner at Carvers Solicitors comments: “The firm is proud to be supporting the first-ever National Conveyancing Week. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a major shift in the market, increasing the demand for conveyancing professionals. The working patterns of the public have changed, driven by the pandemic, so many found they required more space to work from home as well as capitalising on the Stamp Duty Land Tax holiday. Following this, we at Carvers Solicitors are currently experiencing more demand than supply in the more specialised areas of our practice. This includes dealing with unregistered estates, lease extensions and new build properties which continues to drive the need for our experienced and reputable conveyancing professionals with decades of conveyancing experience.”
“At Carvers Solicitors, we always strive to deliver the best possible service to our clients by supporting them throughout the process of buying or selling a property as we understand that this can be a stressful period in their lives and by having a professional who understands, it can alleviate that pressure.”
